Wie ihr vielleichtmitbekommen habt, haben sich die OpenOffice.org<\/a> Entwickler von Oracle, welches Sun gekauft hat, abgespalten und nennen sich jetzt the Document Foundation<\/a>. Doch Oracle besitzt die Rechte am Namen OpenOffice.org, darum heisst das “echte” OpenOffice nun LibreOffice. Oracle entwickelt \u00fcbrigens weiterhin am OpenOffice.org. Das problem ist, dass die meisten nur die Microsoft Office Alternative OpenOffice.org kennen, jedoch noch nichts von der Abspaltung geh\u00f6rt haben. dummerweise l\u00e4uft die Testzeit f\u00fcr die Office 2010 Beta am 31.Oktober aus und somit werden viele wieder auf die gratisalternative OpenOffice.org wechseln. Darum die entscheidende Frage:

Was genau ist denn besser?<\/b>
In letzter Zeit sind viele Entwickler von OpenOffice.org abgesprungen. das war noch vor der Gr\u00fcndung der Document Foundation. Dies, weil sie keine zukunft mehr sahen, da Oracle\/Sun sie “herumdiktierte” und der Openoffie.org Code einfach zu un\u00fcbersichtlich geworden sei. Darum m\u00fcsse man f\u00fcr ein schnelles OpenOffice.org den ganzen Code neu schreiben. Oracle\/Sun wollten dies vorerst nicht zu Kenntniss nehmen. the Document Foundation m\u00f6chte die Entwichlung neu organisieren, so dass jeder seine eigene Meinung einbringen kann und diese auch fair behandelt wird.

Ausserdem will die Document Foundation ihre Suite in m\u00f6glichst vielen Sprachen anbiten, damit man keine Sprache erlernen m\u00fcsse, um etwas nutzen zu k\u00f6nnen(“Aufhebung der Digitalen Grenzen”).<\/p>\n

Es haben schon gr\u00f6ssere Firemn wie Google und Red Hat ihre unterst\u00fctzung zugesagt, als man Oracle anfragten, wiesen diese eine Mitarbeit zur\u00fcck. <\/p>\n
